Review of Alien: Covenant (2017) by Ivan H — 23 May 2017

There will always be haters with movies, but not today, and not from me.. The story was well thought out, the casting was tremendous, and the acting was really good.. Can I also just say that music composing was bang on too, and truly captured the craziness of the film..A small example would be when one person starts showing symptoms of an infection, listen for a twang of sorts.. Most people don't appreciate this stuff, but it created a scary ambience. Sure the movie isn't perfect, but if people these days are going out to catch a flick looking for perfection, they missed the point..I brought a date and she hates scary movies, but she enjoyed this one, and didn't even see the sequel.. Now she's heading back to Netflix to watch the original.. I didn't like the decision they went with Shaw.. I'll just leave it at that..

I'd give this a 9/10..
