Not the best of the Alien franchise, but light years ahead (no pun intended) of Prometheus. The world building that is beginning to take shape in Ridley Scott's story is fantastic.
Shot beautifully and makes you want to pause to take in every scene to see the amount of detail in the art direction and production design. Characters could use a little more development, but it's more about the world and concepts of creation than these characters.
