Review of Alien: Covenant (2017) by The Movie G — 09 Jun 2017
Alien Covenant is the newest prequel to the Alien franchise. Is this a good and better prequel than Prometheus (2012)? I wouldn't say it's better, I would just say it is interesting, now gives you new questions to ask.
This movie is pretty good, very interesting, really good directing by director Ridley Scott (Alien, The Martian, Prometheus), and really acting. The story is interesting and keeps you again wanting answers, but not as much answers than wanted in Prometheus (2012).
Michael Fassbender is absolutely the best part about the Alien prequels including this one. Danny McBride was surprisingly really good. But when it comes to the Alien prequels, it really feels like when more Alien prequels come out, there will just be more questions wanting, and less questions answered.
(But what can you expect it's an Alien movie). But after all Alien Covenant is a good and very interesting film to watch and go see.
