Review of Alien (1979) by Vincerocks123 — 08 May 2015
Mix horror with sic-fi together and you get a action-packed climatic thrill ride that works, in Ridley Scott's sci-fi masterpiece ALIEN.
The crew of the Nostromo has investigated a nightmarish uninhabitable planet and has brought back a terror that threatens to devour all of them, an interstellar embryonic hybrid that feeds on a living host during birth.
When the embryo evolves into a full fledged alien killing machine, crew member Ellen Ripley finds herself the only person destined to escape the maze of terror in the shape as all her companions disappear one by one, and with the ship on the verge of self-destructing in orbit.
Lots of tense violent climatic chilling and disturbing scenes, including a creepy jumpscare, Ridley Scott has given us a horror attraction we will never forget! an excellent first in cinema history.
Goes to show that in space no one can hear you scream.........
