Review of Alice in Wonderland (2010) by Cliff C — 18 Mar 2014
When I saw this movie, I felt offended. Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland is built like a war movie, when the original source material has NOTHING to do with war or conflict. The essence of Wonderland is, and has always been the nonsensical and illogical nature of the world.
In this movie, however, everything is logical and straightforward. Characters are fighting for a cause, and political power...but that goes against everything the original books were describing and presenting.
