Review of Alice in Wonderland (1951) by Skyler I — 27 Jun 2011
This easily my favorite adaptation of Lewis Carroll's Wonderland books. I found it to be charming and filled with emotion. The characters are quirky and brought to life in a sufficiently strange and unique way.
It also boasts some good amination, colors and my favorite design of the Cheshire Cat. This film also boasts almost no flaws, at least none that I can glean from it. It's just plain enjoyable, and it's complex and thought provoking scenes are something the adults can enjoy as well.
Emotional depth and great fun all at once.
