Review of Alias Jesse James (1959) by John A — 15 Jul 2013
Classic Comedy About Bumbling Insurance Sales Agent Who Has Got A Miserable Sales Record, On The Day He Was Sacked He Sells An Insurance Policy Worth $100,000 To Outlaw Jesse James. His Boss Sends Him Out West To Protect James, Where James' Sets Him Up To Take The Fall For Him.
A Typical Bob Hope Film, A Classic Comic Styled Western Comedy That His Fans Would Enjoy. The Film Is Dated & Can Be Considered Bad By Today's Standards. The Story May Be A Bit Boring But The Film Relies On The Comedic Talents & Performance Of Hope As Well As The Performances Of The Supporting Cast As Well As The Film's Comedic Scenes. An Extremely Well Made Classic.
