Good, but not great - Smith does a fine job as the champ, but the whole movie has a paint-by-numbers kind of feel to it. At the end, you don't really coming away knowing more about Ali than you could have guessed at.
Well photographed. Best thing about the movie - Jon Voight as Howard Cosell! Now that's casting!
