Review of Alexander (2004) by Cara M — 13 Mar 2010
The last time I watched this film was in the theaters. I remember I hated it so much. I thought it was too racy, rude, violent and over-dramatic, and I hated Alexander and the way he acted. I thought he was annoying.
So, watching it now, after five years, I actually thought it was better than some of the historical epics (Troy and even Braveheart). The music was magnificent. It's beyond sadness how it wasn't even nominated for an Oscar. The battle scenes were epic. I mean, sure, this film had bad moments, but the critics were way too harsh on it. WAY TOO HARSH!
