Review of Alexander (2004) by Jessica X — 17 Jul 2012

Very good movie. I like it a lot, don't know why the critics speak so badly about it.. it's kinda sad though..

Watched the final cut this time (40 min longer). not sure what exactly was added, apart from Alexander's scenes with the eunuch.. i'm thinking in checking the directors cut now.. there were some scenes that i'd rather have not seen..

Maybe the theatrical version was more beautiful.. gonna have the check to see if any good scenes of the extended version were excluded from it.

Btw Jared Leto did an amazing job!! beautiful and with feeling.
