Review of Alexander (2004) by Rotten T — 12 Aug 2009
I don't blame the actors for fail this bad, actually. I blame the editors and director for the confusing timeline and lack of seemless continuity, the scriptwriters for the stupid language and phrasing, the Director for the idea of a narrator that explained in many words what could be shown in a few actions, and I blame the art department for the needlessly artistic red colour wash when Alexander gets stabbed.
I do so hate it when movies distort colours and perceptions too much when trying to show the POV of the character. Alexander and Hephaestion totally should've gotten it on.
