Jolie wasn't ambitious enough, Colin Farrell did NOT fit the part of Alexander, and Roxane was beautiful but thrown in only as "eye candy"--she had no real part in the movie. The music was excellent and the scene with the elephants was awesome but I won't be watching this again in the future.
