Tyler Perry assumes the role of Det. Alex Cross, played by Morgan Freeman in "Kiss the Girls" and "Along Came a Spider." Those films were terrible. This film is downright abysmal: unbelievably stupid and pointlessly lurid, with some awful acting and howlingly-bad dialogue.
A failure on all levels.
