Review of Aladdin (2019) by Chiisatin — 24 May 2019
As a fan of the original Aladdin, I was not disappointed. Will Smith delivered as genie and the rest of the main cast did a pretty good job acting their characters. different from the original, I reckon this movie is not for everyone because some aspects of this movie has subtle differences compared to the original which some people might find weird and uninteresting.
The vocal performances were great, it gives a modern spin to the classic and still manage to provoke a sense of nostalgia. The visuals are charming, maybe a bit too colorful for my liking, but it still works.
