Live action remake that was on the very edge of providing a magical experience. Just didn't provide enough spectacle, especially during the whole new world bit. While the music and vocals were superb, the visuals were subpar, the original animation provided a much better journey through a whole new world.
I also don't understand why they didn't cast a older actor as jafar. seems pretty ageist bc they didnt want to deal with whatever issues that would arise with that casting.
