Review of Aladdin (1992) by J Chris J — 14 Apr 2012
The third best of the Classic Disney animation films. The classic Arabian Nights tale of a street urchin who finds a magic lamp which contains the most funniest and personable genie.
Let's not kid ourselves, without Robin Williams kabillion trillion impersonations and his inhuman ability to improvise, this film would not be half as memorable. Ive seen him in interviews where he talks of how the producers at Disney had to reign him back in and how he has hours upon hours of improve takes. If this ever makes it to BluRay, I hope some of his out-takes voice work makes it as a special feature.
It's hilarious, the soundtrack is incredible and the love story and message is genuine.
A Perfect Score.
