Had to watch this on the way to winter camp. Had it been 70 minutes of a dog playing baseball, that would have been bearable. Unfortunately, it has to get all self-serious and deal with issues like stepparents, family in the military, etc.
Woefully ambitious for a straight-to-video movie.
