Review of A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) by Cailin T — 15 Jul 2011
For me, watching A.I. is like eating contaminated food. You kind of notice that things taste a little off halfway through, but for some reason you keep eating anyway... Later on, however, the stomachache sets in and you spend the rest of the evening regretting your earlier decision.
This movie is just very strange, awkward, poorly written, and uninspiring. I truly don't understand it. I don't get the point of it, or why the story needed to be told. None of the characters seem real to me, and none of their choices seem realistic.
Sorry Spielberg, but this is one meal I really regret partaking in, and now I can't get the taste of it out of my mouth.
