Review of A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) by Vince G — 15 Oct 2011
I just finished re-watching this movie. I like it more now. I wasn't expecting so much emotion the first time. It is a modern day fairy tale. Osment is good as David. Sometimes the movie is difficult to watch because David can be annoying.
David is a robot boy adopted by a family whose real son is in a coma. The mother gets attached to David and David loves her more than anyone. After a series of accidents and misfortunes, she abandons David.
He goes on a long journey to find her. The future represented in this movie is both scary and believable. This is a very good movie worth checking out.
