Review of A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) by Tyler J — 21 Nov 2011
A true work of genius, Steven Spielberg takes us to a unique world, where machines and humans are on the verge of civil war, as from the view a small innocent android/child. This film takes us to an implied future of man's own self-destruction, with such frightening scenes as the flesh fare, where androids are brutally slashed, crush, and burned on stage, to such heartwarming scenes as when David (Haley Joel Osment) believes he has found the Blue Fairy in the flooded remains of Coney Island, a scene which I believe also shows off the sheer genius of composer John Williams.
A truly incredible movie, with a very well thawed-out story.
