Review of Aguirre, the Wrath of God (1972) by Alan L — 08 Aug 2013
The Land of Gold is worth than the Life ?
I felt guilty to watch this film in a hypnotic mode so I try to pause in some parts and do other stuff to wake me up, then carry on(Am I remind you of Aguirre's egoism eh?Ha).Despite I were sleepy,Mr.Herzog's precise direction still can't escape from my mind and the cast is like playing themself, pure natural.Anyway,my insistence leads me to the right way but Aguirre,I felt sorry to you(Anyone has seen will understand my pity to him).
The film is plain and underrated but it's uneasy to film from the opening to ending,it was slowly built with a "Patient" heart, shows you the nature of human.Even if it has no deep meaning or no idea what it's trying to tell, but you can see the real meaning of "Art".
"Film,The Most Beautiful Art" ,Thanks for the tittle from one of my film friends.Haha.
