Review of Age of the Dragons (2011) by Timothy E — 17 Oct 2012
The most depressing part about this movie is that it had the potential to be something. With Danny Glover, Vinnie Jones, and some pretty nifty dragon animatronics and puppetry on staff, the movie could have made as an entertaining homage to Moby Dick.
However, the uninspired compositions and lackluster staging of action sequences killed this movie. Just one great sequence could have pushed this over the edge as being more than a slighty better looking SyFy original, making its failure that much worse.
I would've even settled for no dragons throughout the film had it meant the end encounter with the White Dragon been more exciting.
