This movies absolutely stinks. I don't even know where to start! Perhaps with the shoddy acting or the dreadful CGI. Maybe the terrible casting or the ropey screen play! The problem with adapting well known classics is that WE know what's gonna happen.
It makes it worst when the script does nothing to re-interpret the themes of the book. Albeit from turning 'Rachel' the ship that pulls Ishmael from the sea, into the movies female lead. If Melville was alive he'd probably sue.
