Review of Aftershock (2012) by F B — 13 May 2013
As the movie began, the tone was very campy. During the first 30 mins, I doubted that Eli Roth even considered making this movie. The beginning only conveyed 20 year old college students partying and getting wasted.
But as the first earthquake started, it was very subtle because there was no build up at all. Overall, the movie's central premise was to be shocking and very violent so it was entertaining to me.
Eli Roth somehow kept me watching while being at the edge of my seat. I'll admit that it was enjoyable but it was not worth $7.99 to watch.
