I don't know about the international audiences, I mean it's ok you may enjoy Nightmare on Elm street, but later you discover its flaws. I just saw this movie, and frankly I HATED the first 20-something minutes I thought I was gonna be let down, cause I'm chilean and I have nothing against hollywood movies, but in this case I wouldn't allow myself to watch a 'chilewood' movie that's for sure.

SO THE EARTHQUAKE HAPPENS!!! (finally) and believe me, as a chilean I know most of the actors in the movie and they were amazing, so believable and legit. And the sets, the photography, the effects, everything was amazing pretty well developed.

As long as the story goes, well it's Eli Roth what did you expect, but I really appreciate his effort to make a horror-disaster film about the earthquakes in Chile, a lot of the things portrayed on the film, actually happened it was horrible, and it is a sensitive subject but I was hoping a twisted look on the situation by Mr.

Roth and he didn't disappoint me, the characters were interesting cause I know mos of the chilean actors and i've seem em in everything but this. And they did great!!! I guess you just have to be a fan of the genre and keep things in perspective.

For you guys it might be just another gory disaster flick. For us is like the biggest thing ever made in Chile. And I'm really hoping to see more foreigners interested in shooting movies in our country.
