Review of Aftershock (2012) by Gabriel C — 29 Nov 2016
The only reason I watched this movie is because I heard Selena Gomez has a cameo. Literally a 2- line cameo. The first 45 minutes are pretty much build up and getting to know the characters which involves lots of party, drinking, alcohol, siblings rivelry; in other words clique boring stuff.
Once the earthquake happens things get somewhat funny and shocking, which was good until you get insane criminals who have escaped. This part annoyed the shit out of me. It was unnecessary and the prisoners pretty much have the advantage until the end of the movie.
The ending though it's amazing and the best part of the movie. So in my opinion skip the first 45 minutes, watch the earthquake, once you meet the criminals skip till 5 minutes before the end, so you can enjoy an amazing ending! the rest of the movie is disappointing and/or infuriating.
