Review of After the Wedding (2006) by Fredrick R — 10 Nov 2007
This movie is for people who do not have short attention spans. After the Wedding touches upon the common themes of love, romance, redemption and choices in life...but with great story-telling and far less dialogue than Hollywood films.
Lots of acting goes into the facial expressions and there is minimal music, if any. The climax of the movie is short and to the point, instead of being dragged out ad nauseum. Susanne Bier is an A+ director/screenwriter.
