Review of After the Sunset (2004) by Pamela J — 20 Nov 2006
Though very predictable and armed with a slightly dull plot, After the Sunset stirred up quite the entertainment that I was not expecting. Pierce Brosnan continues to prove he is more than a James Bond, by accepting mildly odd roles that prove his talent.
By starring in this film, I am able to truly see him as an incredibly versatile actor, as I wasn't before. The film itself may contain its scenes of gratuitous sensuality or violence, however, I have not had as much fun and enjoyment watching a film lately as I have with this.
It is a truly entertaining crime and heist film, that should be well suited for all ages. Some may roll their eyes at the recognizeable flaws, but if to state my opinions in a form of enjoyment, After the Sunset was a pleasure to watch.
