Review of After the Fox (1966) by Alan J — 08 Mar 2008
Peter Sellers, Neil Simon (script), and Burt Bacharach (music) at the height of their powers. It's worth it for the title song alone, by Sellers and the Hollies! Victor Mature is a good sport spoofing a "mature" actor.
And young Britt Ekland is lovely. Really cleverly written (it's a zany caper, with hints of Bowfinger and State & Main), and Sellers was a true genius. Mike Myers is the only current actor who comes remotely close.
