Review of After the Fox (1966) by Ted G — 23 Jul 2007
Entertainingly-silly comedy (by Neil Simon) in which Sellers plays master-criminal Aldo Vanucci (aka The Fox), who escapes from prison and poses as a film-director in order to score some gold bullion. Victor Mature sends himself up as a vain, age-obsessed film star.
The Bacharach-penned theme song (sung by The Hollies), will stick in your mind years after you've seen this.
