Review of After Life (1999) by Will G — 05 Oct 2007
A wonderfully imaginative and fantastically-executed film about the afterlife. In Japanese director Kore-eda's version, each person has to choose one memory from their lifetime which they will choose to live with forever.
A very touching, beautiful film that easily spans the language barrier. Since I'd like to give this 3 3/4 stars, I'll mark it with 4. Highly recommended to anyone willing to watch foreign films.
