Review of After Hours (1985) by Ted H — 28 Jul 2012
Its either a comedic thriller or a comedy disguised as a urban nightmare. Whatever genre this is, Minion's screenplay is pretty inventive in continually finding ways to prevent Dunne's character from getting laid or even just getting home.
In its themes and style, this is probably the most "un-Scorsese" movie Scorsese has ever made . . . and it makes me wish he'd branch out and do strange, undefinable material like this more often.
