Review of After Hours (1985) by Elena C — 22 Oct 2007
Possibly one of the most underrated Scorsese films, and yet one of his best. Everything intermingles so quickly yet manages to keep the viewer stuck to his seat with uneasy empathy for the hero, an ordinary man slipping into the mouth of hell unleashed.
So tricky that one almost misses the beauty of everything coming back together in its right place. A delightful masterpiece that I wouldn't mind watching again.
