I always loved the way it took place in Manhattan but the only people out and seemingly alive during the single night are the quirky characters leading man Griffin Dunne encounters as he goes from one interpersonal crisis to the next; both Rosanna Arquette and Linda Fiorentino look like they're 20 here .
