Review of After Hours (1985) by Jeff B — 21 Mar 2011
This film is amazingly similar in tone to "Brazil", which came out the same year. I think "Brazil" is the better film, but this is a kind of unique film for Scorsese, but also one of his best.
Things just seem to get turned on their head for one night in New York City and Paul's right at the center of things. It's a late-night caper movie wherein the protagonist can't seem to escape the weirdos.
I love it!
