Review of After Earth (2013) by Andre B — 27 May 2018

After watching it a second time trying to see the worst in it I came away with the same feeling. The first of its kind,a great movie! and I would have paid to produce the squeal . As with any parent and father we want the best for our children and are willing to push them to the point of perfection Could their have been more action absolutely.

Did it have enough comedy for it time absolutely not. Finally a film that shows an African American Male in a positive light which further defies the stereo type, holds a position of authority a caring and sportive husband and father, respected and good at what he does.

Technically I would have edited the story and film differently. There were so many ways this film could have been done it simply went in the opposite direction most movies of its kind would have expected them to go .

LOLl The father should have performed surgery on himself used Nano Technology to restore the tissue and joined his son in the end to fight the creature that has taken over the bodies of it crew. Great Job Will Smith you've accomplished something know one else has in Hollywood.
