*sigh* Well what can you say about a movie that is so depressing but so true, I mean I could go on and on about this movie, well I might as well, since I dont have anything better to do. Such as life when you simply pass through with out the acknowledgement or care of anyone. You're like an invisble corpse making no mark on time or history. Anyone, back to the movie. Nick Nolte is simply a victim of his towns bottled up hostility and anger. He works hard for that small town to keep it thriving, while trying to bury the heart break and emotional scars he received as a child. Constantly the victim of his alcoholic father's verbal and physical abuse, he grew up to see his dysfunction as a child grow into dysfunction as a father and husband. He only wanted what was best for those he cared about but they two turned their backs on him in his time of need, I know what he felt like. When you wake up in the moring and you'd rather be six feet under, but you didnt have the good fortune of dying painfully in the night. SO you get up at 6 am and stumble into the kitchen to find your only friend in this cold heartless world. THe only that understands ya and tries to comfort ya, a half empty bottle of alcohol. Not beer, that just dont do it anymore, you need the hard stuff. Gin, vodka, some jim beam, johnny walker, or jack daniels, you know the fellas. They're the only ones there for ya when your life comes crumbling down in front of your glazed over eyes. And there gonna be the only ones there when you gotta try to pick up the ashes from that burnt rubble. Well, I dont wanna spoil the rest of this fun packed excitement of a movie. *sigh* well, im going to go back to my worthless existence where no one notices me. *Sigh*.

*GUNSHOT* *BAM*.
