I am really surprised that this film did not get more acclaim - I think it deserves to be seen. Good story with fine performances from the unknown actors. Ken Loach manages to put across a fine commentary of the roles of religions in shaping our society, and how people are irrationally divided by them.

In Loach's masterful hands, this film does not come across preachy. On the contrary, it is a balanced piece of observation.
