A touching engaging sci-fi tale about parental love and hardship that doesn't pull punches. Highly recommended.
Aside being well written and superbly directed with it's quiet character driven moments, Advantageous most definitely struck a chord in me with the cast being mostly Asian American. The story has nothing to do with their ethnicity. That's just who they are and this is the world and situation that they all are in. And frankly, I like that.
