Review of Adulthood (2008) by Toby E — 31 Oct 2008
An impressive film by Noel Clarke. I film that spent its time examining the effects and after effects of violence, not just on the individual but everyone else. A good cast, with some familiar faces in it aswell (anyone spot the voice of the Daleks?).
I have to admit I found the between scenes editing and occasional camera angels a bit of a cliche and every now and then the street talk did lose me. Still, a comendable film and worth a look.
