Review of Addicted to Love (2010) by Keith M — 13 Jul 2009
I really liked the whole premise of the film. Although it's creepy that Broderick and Ryan are essentially stalking their ex-lovers and the ending was rather cheesy, it made for good comedy. It was nice to see Meg Ryan in a role where her character has a rather tough exterior.
I'm used to seeing her all happy and playful, so that was a nice change and gives her more credibility as an actress. Plus, it was nice seeing Tcheky Karyo in a comedy. The only other two roles I had seen him in before this was as Mishkin in Goldeneye and the French guy in The Patriot.
He too, I think, is given more acting credibility for this role.
