"To begin... To begin... How to start? I'm hungry. I should get coffee. Coffee would help me think. Maybe I should write something first, then reward myself with coffee. Coffee and a muffin." Yeah, and to begin I just have to say that Adaptation is right under Eternal Sunshine on my favorite Kaufman flicks.
Spike Jonze and Charlie Kaufman team up again after their sucess from Being John Malcovich and it is better than ever. Nicolas Cage gives an oscar worthy performance(he was nominated) and the directing is great and the writing was fantastic.
Whats better than two Nicolas Cages, I mean what is? It's a great drama that has some laughs too and the almost non-fiction story poses questions. A great film with a great cast and a spectacular group of people to make it.
A classic.
