Review of Adaptation. (2002) by Bheema B — 30 Dec 2017
Adaptation's first 55 minutes are a funny and quirky, if a bit cliche, light hearted drama where Nicolas Cage kills it as both Charles and Donald Kaufman. But once that 55 minute mark pasts, it turns into a fucking mess that asks you to suspend disbelief more than a 90s pro wrestling special would.
And I don't give a crap what the hidden meanings or real life parallels or symbolisms are supposed to be. Frankly that could've been done a lot better too.
