Self-referential humour is not often attempted in a film, but it has been raped (in a good way) by Charlie Kaufman. Understated performances, such as Meryl Streep's mild mannered, but surprising authour.
It also have Nicholas Cage a rare opportunity to shine on the silver screen in this very well done duel role.
