Review of Act of Valor (2012) by Dov D — 04 May 2013
This film was marketed as the most realistic military film ever filmed, but sadly, that's all that it is. The firefights are out of this world intense. If only that's all that this film was. Unfortunately, the director opted to add horribly scripted dialogue delivered by inexperienced actors, which completely detracted from any momentum this film may have picked up.
Bottom line, if you watch this movie as an extension of the last call of duty installment, you'll probably enjoy it. Otherwise, just don't bother.
