Review of Act of Valor (2012) by Thornetgriffon — 09 Aug 2012
A typical flashy American action movie with a shallow plot (Terrorist want to kill people. Special forces stop terrorists. End of film) and wooden acting (understandable due to the fact that the actors are actual soldiers).
Action sequences are excellent, however. I can honestly say that this was one the very few films that didn't have me, as a military man myself, pointing out constant flaws in what was going on. On the whole, a decent film and a good watch if you are tired and/or don't want to have to pay attention to every last detail.
