Review of Across the Universe (2007) by Michael D — 10 Mar 2013

The method of how the story unfolds between dialogue and the use of the songs is done well. In reading the major reviewers, I cant help but feel that they were expecting a musical where the music existed for no reason further than the entertainment value, and while there isnt really anything wrong with that approaching this movie in that mindset means you will not get the full impact.

Its not the greatest ever, but its certainly worth watching at least once.
