Review of Across 110th Street (1972) by Kent L — 10 Aug 2006
Multi-layered caper flix that runs mostly on a racial charge (hence why it gets pigeon holed w/ a lot of blaxploitation films) but black urban life wasn't pretty and the bigotry that existed was real.
.plus I usually always enjoy Mafia movies and the Harlem Mafia in Across 110th Street would put it in a personal 12 best of the subgenera.
