I don't care what anyone says, when I was a youngster, I LOVED THIS MOVIE! Now that I am older, I still like it. It's one of those things that you can't hate because they're part of your childhood.
This movie brings back a lot of memories and now, I can honestly say, that I get some of the more 'mature' jokes. Why Jim Carrey never made a third one, we will never know.
