Infinitely worse than the original. To give you an idea how terrible this movie is and how much worse it is than the first Ace Ventura, imagine the first Ventura flick to be the most perfect piece of chocolate cake you can imagine.
Then imagine this horrid sequel as the most perfect steaming cowpaddie in the middle of a pasture that you can imagine. Just an abhorrent script that somehow, someway makes the talented Jim Carrey not only seem not funny but boring, tedious and kinda confusing.
This is the same actor who gave us Fire Marshall Bill, too. This dump of a film is the reason he refuses to sequels...at least until he decides to do another Dumb & Dumber and the cha-ching that comes with it.
My guess is that D&D 2 will suck but it will at least be several hundred light years ahead of Ace Ventura 2. Simply an incoherent defecation of cinematic excellence.
